official travel bag checklist
As I mentioned yesterday, I wouldn't consider myself a plane travel pro in the slightest, but I do have some things about traveling down to a science. In preparing for my London flight, I've found myself referring back to a list I hurriedly jotted on my bedside notepad two years ago for the little things to bring on the plane. I tend to carry my Longchamp as my purse so that I have enough room for all of my things, and somehow it all fits! I swear - it's the best bag! I've referred to my packing list for one trip to London, Dublin, and Nice, France, two trips to New York City, and one to Chicago, so I think it has earned its "official" title.
My list covers all of the bases fairly well, though I'm sure you could change out some things for your own favorites. Personally, I can't get through a flight without lots of magazines, my iPad and iPhone for lots of reading materials. I also try to bring a mini toothpaste, tooth brush, and deodorant so that I feel somewhat fresh post-landing. See for yourself!
plane ticket (paper or mobile)
copy of driver's license
wallet, cash, + cards
daily makeup (foundation, concealer, eyebrow pencil, chapstick, mascara)
mini shampoo, conditioner, body wash
cell phone charger
just in case
pain killers (ibuprofen, tylenol, asprin)
mini emergency kit
What would you add to the list? Any must-haves on your flight?
